Overview

TITAN Cement Group is actively looking to hire a high-caliber professional to assume the Innovation PMO Manager position within Group Research and Development (R&D) department.

As an Innovation Project Management Office Manager (IPMO), you will oversee key Research, Development & Innovation projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive seamless project execution, resource planning, and reporting while promoting a culture of innovation within the Group. By supporting knowledge creation and dissemination, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s future and fostering continuous improvement.

The role is based at TITAN's Kamari Plant, in Greece, and reports directly to the Group Head of R&D.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to Research, Development & Innovation projects, overseeing resource planning, reporting, and collaboration with internal and external teams to ensure timely project delivery and regular status updates to management.
  • Implement and support the realization of the TITAN Innovation Strategy, working closely with innovation teams, corporate functions and business units (BU’s), to enhance value addition to TITAN and its stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with TITAN BU’s and external partners (vendors, startups, academics, others) to develop project plans, identify opportunities/risks, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Lead activities to foster the culture of innovation, such as trainings, open contests (e.g. ideation challenges, or hackathons), workshops, and communication events within the organization.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure timely, efficient execution and compliance with standards, while assisting in reporting to management.
  • Coordinate contractual, intellectual property, and dissemination-related matters, and support grant submissions.
  • Maintain reporting tools (time sheets, budget plans, KPIs) and oversee project costs, ensuring proper financial management.
  • Contribute to strategy proposals, operational manuals, and knowledge dissemination platforms within the Group.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and share insights within the Group.
  • Support the preparation of scientific publications and maintain relationships with external collaborators, expanding TITAN’s network.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business Administration with a proven working experience of at least 10 years in relevant research or industrial positions.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in the above mentioned fields with a proven experience of at least 14 years in relevant industrial or research roles.
  • Proven experience in planning, executing, and completing RDI projects, including resource planning, progress monitoring, and financial spending, as well as reporting to national and international agencies; know-how on financial reporting according to EU and Greek guidelines for research projects will be considered most appropriate (e.g. HorizonEurope, Ereyno-Kainotomo, or similar).
  • Advanced project management skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with reporting tools is a plus.
  • Very good writing competence, focusing on professional reports and dissemination.
  • Fluent in English; additional EU language will be considered an asset.
  • Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable).

  • Effective communication with senior executives, able to see the big picture.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10% of the time).
