Overview

TITAN Group is looking for a Junior Cement Process Engineer to join the Group Engineering & Technology team at our Headquarters in Athens, Greece. This role reports to the Cement Process Manager.

 

In this corporate-level role, you will participate in a structured development program designed to build your technical, analytical, and leadership skills within the field of cement process engineering. Working alongside senior corporate engineers and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to process optimization, innovation, and sustainability initiatives across multiple plants in different countries.

 

This is a unique opportunity for an early-career engineer eager to gain international exposure, develop a holistic understanding of cement manufacturing, and contribute to the Group’s strategic goals in operational excellence, digital transformation, and decarbonization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the analysis and benchmarking of process performance data across plants to identify improvement opportunities and best practices.
  • Assist in group-wide process audits, studies and strategic projects focused on sustainability, digital transformation and operational excellence.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of new process tools, digital solutions and reporting systems for process optimization and compliance.
  • Collaborate with plant process teams, business units and external partners to facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment with Group strategy.
  • Contribute to group initiatives related to alternative fuels and raw materials (AFR/AMR), decarbonization and energy efficiency.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, process upgrades, and innovation projects at the corporate level.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, supporting data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required); Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Sustainability, or Digitalization will be considered a plus.
  • No prior experience required; relevant internships or academic projects in cement manufacturing or process optimization will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Genuine interest in process improvement, digital transformation, and sustainability in industrial operations.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a multicultural, global environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to Group plants.
  • Commitment to safety, environmental, and corporate standards.
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
  • Military obligations completed (if applicable).
